Padar Island is one of the islands located in Komodo National Park. It is one of the third largest islands after Komodo and Rinca Island. Padar has a spectacular view with a unique rock formation.
The island is close to Rinca Island which is separated by Lintah Strait. There are also small islands around the island.
Padar Island has no population and there are no Komodo Dragons inhabitants on the island. However, there are some reptile inhabitants on this island. Snakes, geckos, and monitor lizards can be found on the island.
The sea around the island has several scuba diving and snorkeling spots. There is also a beautiful white sand beach.
The highlight activity to do on the island is hiking. However, you can also enjoy other activities on the island.

Padar Island is only accessible by boat tour from Labuan Bajo. If you plan to visit the island, all you need to do is book a Komodo island boat tour from Labuan Bajo. You can choose to go on a day tour or an overnight tour which takes 3 days and 2 nights or more.
Labuan Bajo is the main gateway to start a Komodo boat tour. This small town is located on the western tip of Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Labuan Bajo has various types of accommodations, from homestay to star hotels. Restaurants are also spread around the town.
For the most preferred way to get there is by flight from Denpasar, Bali. The return way will also be the same, get on the flight from Labuan Bajo to Bali.
